Majorel sees clear growth potential in the Maastricht region. That’s why we opened a Customer Service centre here in 2014, in addition to our Abcoude and Venlo sites. Providing training and growth opportunities for employees in this field is an integral part of our culture. As a partner of Customer Service Valley we increase the potential for our employees.
The concept behind Customer Service Valley originated from the desire and ambition to boost the economic strength of South Limburg. Cooperation between government, education and businesses is the best strategy for achieving that goal. South Limburg has 30 customer service companies with more than 5,000 employees. With a growth ambition to create 1,000 new jobs by 2018 and ever greater demands on employees’ skills, that strength is necessary. The cooperation objective was enshrined in a covenant in February 2015 and the first concrete results are now evident. The municipality is therefore participating as a member of this partnership.
As a CSV covenant partner, Q-Park is keen to invest in the appropriate development of its customer service employees, because it’s convinced that this collective initiative will generate even better knowledge and maximum customer focus in a productive and cooperative setting within a prescribed circle. Finding, connecting and strengthening existing employees, new employees and the unique collaboration between professionals within the region. Because Q-Park believes in teamwork.
As one of the initiators, VodafoneZiggo is delighted that so many parties are cooperating to make the Maastricht region the Customer Service Valley of the Netherlands/Benelux region. We’re convinced that together we can also make the call centre sector even more professional, even more attractive and – in particular – even more pleasant.
The regional training centre ROC Arcus College has provided contract education for working people and jobseekers since 2002. The partnership with Customer Service Valley and the affiliated companies, educational establishments, municipalities and benefit agencies provides a unique opportunity for Limburg to facilitate and support the sector’s growth ambitions in our region by providing high-calibre education.
The regional training centre ROC Leeuwenborgh has offered educational programmes for call centre personnel since 2008. The partnership with Customer Service Valley offers us the possibility of gearing these programmes more closely to demand from this sector. By training new personnel and further professionalizing existing personnel, we contribute to the growth ambitions of the sector in our region.
Zuyd University of Applied Sciences offers standard and bespoke Bachelor's and Master's programmes in the South Limburg region.
